Caldera launches new upgraded range of PCs
French RIP software developer Caldera is launching a range of three new PCs with enhanced processing power to provide their customers with a combined hardware/software solution. The C1, C2 and C3 v2020.01, have been developed in conjunction with DELL to be plug-and-print – they come pre-loaded with Linux OS and Caldera RIP. The idea is to offer users the peace of mind that comes with having a device that has been tested and guaranteed by Caldera, and that’s ready for immediate use. The new range of PC will allow to better take advantage from recent V13 pipelines and unleash the unrivalled power of your Caldera RIP.

For 50 years, Rootring has specialised in resizing, re-conditioning, cutting, rewinding and sheeting all kinds of paper. This buyout will put TTS in a better position to respond quickly to demand and reduce costs for our customers. Rootring’s new name is Rootring Paper & Converting.

IIJ answers the call of the wide
When it comes to developing new products, Industrial Inkjet Ltd, has always followed the demands of customers looking to expand and push the boundaries of what their business can achieve. In 2009, IIJ launched the first of its innovative compact inkjet print modules, the ColourPrint 72 based on Konica Minolta’s compact and versatile inkjet printheads. This engine was capable of 72mm wide, 4 colour 360dpi printing at up to 27m/min, all within a footprint of less than 150mm. For Grafityp 2020 is more than just a jubilee year
Not only will the company be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2020, it is also conducting a complete re-branding in all its communication. As apotheosis, the new CEO Patrick Nijs (56) will also start on 1st March. He comes from Vasco Group, the group above radiator manufacturer Vasco in Dilsen-Stokkem, where he was also CEO. Mutoh Europe announces new managing director
Mutoh Europe nv, EMEA business unit of Mutoh Industries Co. Ltd., Japan, announced that Mr. Kenji Yasuhara will retire as Managing Director of Mutoh Europe & Mutoh Deutschland on March 31st, 2020 and from all his functions as Mutoh Executive Officer end of April 2020. Aged 65, Kenji Yasuhara joined the Mutoh Group in 2014. He was Mutoh Deutschland’s General Manager from 2014 to 2016 and Managing Director of Mutoh Europe and Mutoh Deutschland since 2017.

Onlineprinters acquires postpress company
The online print company Onlineprinters has acquired "RIB Industrie-Buchbinderei", a postpress company located in Waldbüttelbrunn (Bavaria). "With this company acquisition, we are building on a partnership that has been flourishing for many years," says Roland Keppler, the CEO of the Onlineprinters Group, and he adds: "Quality and delivery reliability are our top priorities. So it is with great pleasure that we welcome more highly qualified employees to our company." He officially welcomed the 15 RIB employees to the group of companies at a staff meeting. The acquisition came as part of a retirement-related succession management program. Peter Hemberger is the site's new operative manager. He had previously run RIB together with two other co-founding partners who will retire on grounds of age.

Bigprinter moves to a new location
Bigprinter company announced the long-awaited relocation of its headquarters to a new office to accommodate the rapid growth and future expansion plans for its business. The facility is located in Odintsovo – one of the Moscow suburbs, around 10 kilometers away from the city. The new building will host the business units focusing on UV printers developing, manufacturing and sales.
