  • Publicado el 19 de Julio de 2019

The company ROTH + WEBER GmbH, based in Niederdreisbach, has made it into the TOP 100 in the 26th year of the innovation competition for the second time. It will receive its award on 28 June from competition mentor Ranga Yogeshwar, TOP 100 coordinator Professor Nikolaus Franke and compamedia at Frankfurt’s Jahrhunderthalle events venue. TOP 100 uses a rigorous process of analysis to assess how SMEs manage innovation. ROTH + WEBER, which has 166 employees, particularly impressed the independent panel of judges with its successful innovations. This is the second time the company has joined this elite group.

ROTH + WEBER receives TOP 100 award for the second time

ROTH + WEBER develops and manufactures digital reprographic systems for wide formats, specialising in wide format printers, colour scanners and folding machines, along with the relevant software. This is the second time the company has won a TOP 100 award, as it continues to impress with its technological breakthroughs. In the period 2016 to 2018 alone, it secured four German and ten international patents. “We are currently the technology leader and are four years ahead of the competition,” says Johannes Roth, one of the two managing directors. The breadth of the product range is also unparalleled. “We are the only provider worldwide that develops, manufactures and sells the entire wide format portfolio ourselves, from scanners and printers to folding systems and cutting machines. The compatibility of our systems offers our customers a key advantage,” explains Roth.

One example is ROWE ColorPress, a new generation of high-speed wide format printers. Products in this series, which can be upgraded with various scanning and folding systems at any time, boast excellent printing quality, 100 per cent indelibility and low printing costs. The 850i wide format scanner is another recent innovation, capable of handling and digitalising old, torn, heavily crumpled and even rolled original documents thanks to the company’s proprietary media feed technology.
